Et \u00e0 Babylone, pendant l\u2019hiver de l\u2019an 586-585, il re\u00e7oit l\u2019annonce que J\u00e9rusalem, d\u2019abord assi\u00e9g\u00e9e par les Babyloniens, a \u00e9t\u00e9 conquise et d\u00e9truite. Et, devant cette catastrophe<a style=\"mso-footnote-id: ftn;\" title=\"\" href=\"#_ftn1\" name=\"_ftnref\"><span class=\"MsoFootnoteReference\"><span style=\"mso-special-character: footnote;\">[1]<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/span><span lang=\"FR\" style=\"font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Century Gothic';\">, le proph\u00e8te en d\u00e9voile les responsables. Il y a, chez les Babyloniens, la volont\u00e9 d\u2019\u00e9largir leur pouvoir. Mais il y a aussi la mauvaise politique des guides d\u2019Isra\u00ebl, de ses bergers qui n\u2019ont pas pris soin du peuple et se sont enrichis en s\u2019imposant sur lui. Et le proph\u00e8te les accuse\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0Les brebis qui \u00e9taient faibles, vous ne les avez pas fortifi\u00e9es\u00a0; et celle qui \u00e9tait malade, vous ne l\u2019avez pas gu\u00e9rie\u00a0; et celle qui \u00e9tait r\u00e9duite en morceaux, vous ne l\u2019avez pas soign\u00e9e\u00a0; et celle qui s\u2019\u00e9tait \u00e9loign\u00e9e, vous ne l\u2019avez pas fait revenir, et celle qui \u00e9tait perdue, vous ne l\u2019avez pas cherch\u00e9e\u00a0; mais vous les avez domin\u00e9es avec force et avec cruaut\u00e9. Et elles se sont dispers\u00e9es par manque de berger ; elles sont devenues la nourriture de tous les animaux sauvages de la campagne ; elles se sont dispers\u00e9es\u00a0\u00bb (Ez 34,4s).<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-right: 3.6pt; text-align: justify; tab-stops: 315.0pt;\"><i style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\"><span lang=\"FR\" style=\"font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Century Gothic';\">Apr\u00e8s avoir d\u00e9nonc\u00e9 la mauvaise politique des guides juifs qui ont profit\u00e9 de leur peuple et l\u2019ont ainsi livr\u00e9 aux animaux sauvages, c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire aux troupes de Babylone, Ez\u00e9chiel pr\u00e9sente la r\u00e9action de Dieu. Il est le berger de son peuple. Il s\u2019occupe des pauvres, des malades, il prend soin aussi de la \u00ab\u00a0nishb\u00e8r\u00e8t\u00a0\u00bb, litt\u00e9ralement de la brebis \u00ab\u00a0r\u00e9duite en morceaux\u00a0\u00bb. Elle est un moment dans lequel une personne prend conscience de ce qu\u2019elle vit.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-right: 3.6pt; text-align: justify;\"><i style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\"><span lang=\"FR\" style=\"font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Century Gothic';\">\u00a0\u00a0 Le po\u00e8me se compose de deux parties\u00a0: la premi\u00e8re (vv. 1-4) chante Dieu comme berger, la seconde (vv. 5-6) comme h\u00f4te.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-right: 3.6pt; text-align: justify;\"><i style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\"><span lang=\"FR\" style=\"font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Century Gothic';\">\u00a0\u00a0 Dans la premi\u00e8re partie, le po\u00e8te c\u00e9l\u00e8bre Dieu &#8211; d\u2019abord (vv. 1-3) &#8211; \u00e0 la troisi\u00e8me personne\u00a0: il est mon berger, il me fait reposer, il me conduit, il me guide. L\u2019image est celle d\u2019un berger qui n\u2019a pas de r\u00e9sidence fixe. Il est toujours en marche, avec sa <\/span><\/i><i style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\"><span lang=\"FR\" style=\"font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Century Gothic';\">[\/one_fourth]<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-right: 3.6pt; text-align: justify;\"><i style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\"><span lang=\"FR\" style=\"font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Century Gothic';\">[one_fourth]<\/span><\/i><i style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\"><span lang=\"FR\" style=\"font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Century Gothic';\">brebis, pour la guider o\u00f9 il y a de l\u2019eau, de l\u2019herbe fra\u00eeche, un endroit pour lui permettre le repos. <\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-right: 3.6pt; text-align: justify;\"><i style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\"><span lang=\"FR\" style=\"font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Century Gothic';\">Mais, si en Palestine d\u2019habitude le berger s\u2019occupe de plusieurs brebis, le po\u00e8te se sent comme la seule brebis, et le berger s\u2019occupe toujours d\u2019elle, en lui r\u00e9v\u00e9lant son amour, \u00abson intimit\u00e9\u00bb (v. 3).<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-right: 3.6pt; text-align: justify;\"><i style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\"><span lang=\"FR\" style=\"font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Century Gothic';\">\u00a0\u00a0 A la fin de cette premi\u00e8re partie, le po\u00e8te ne parle plus \u00e0 Dieu \u00e0 la troisi\u00e8me personne\u00a0: il utilise la deuxi\u00e8me personne, il lui dit \u2018tu\u2019\u00a0:\u00a0\u00ab\u00a0tu es avec moi\u00a0\u00bb (v. 4). Et cette pr\u00e9sence de Dieu permet au po\u00e8te de ne pas avoir peur. Il n\u2019a pas peur m\u00eame s\u2019il va \u00ab\u00a0dans une vall\u00e9e de profonde obscurit\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb comme il y en a dans le sud de la Palestine, des vall\u00e9es escarp\u00e9es et tr\u00e8s dangereuses. Plus tard, dans la traduction grecque, cette image de la vall\u00e9e sera profond\u00e9ment transform\u00e9e: en changeant une petite voyelle de l\u2019h\u00e9breu, on traduit\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0M\u00eame si je vais au c\u0153ur de l\u2019ombre de la mort, \u2026 tu es avec moi\u00a0\u00bb.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-right: 3.6pt; text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00a0 <i style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\"><span lang=\"FR\" style=\"font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Century Gothic';\">Comme dans la finale de la premi\u00e8re partie, aussi au d\u00e9but de la seconde partie (v. 5), le po\u00e8te s\u2019adresse \u00e0 Dieu en lui disant\u00a0\u2018tu\u2019\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0tu pr\u00e9pares un banquet pour moi, tu m\u2019accueilles, tu remplis ma coupe jusqu\u2019au bord\u00a0\u00bb. Ces images correspondent \u00e0 celles de la premi\u00e8re partie: nourriture, boisson, repos. Mais ces actions ne visent plus une brebis. Le po\u00e8te ne s\u2019identifie plus \u00e0 une brebis dont le berger prend soin. Le po\u00e8te se pr\u00e9sente d\u00e9sormais comme une personne que Dieu accueille comme h\u00f4te, un h\u00f4te de respect<a style=\"mso-footnote-id: ftn;\" title=\"\" href=\"#_ftn4\" name=\"_ftnref\"><span class=\"MsoFootnoteReference\"><span style=\"mso-special-character: footnote;\">[4]<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/span>.<\/i><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-right: 3.6pt; text-align: justify;\">\u00a0 <i style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\"><span lang=\"FR\" style=\"font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Century Gothic';\">\u00a0 Enfin, dans le dernier verset, le po\u00e8te revient sur Dieu. Si le verset 5 pouvait faire penser \u00e0 Dieu qui, une seule fois, accueille l\u2019homme comme son h\u00f4te, le dernier verset \u00e9limine toute ambig\u00fcit\u00e9\u00a0: Dieu accueille les humains pour toujours.
