[In quel tempo,] uno della folla disse a Ges\u00f9: \u00abMaestro, di\u2019 a mio fratello che divida con me l\u2019eredit\u00e0\u00bb. Ma egli rispose: \u00abO uomo, chi mi ha costituito giudice o mediatore sopra di voi?\u00bb. E disse loro: \u00abFate attenzione e tenetevi lontani da ogni cupidigia perch\u00e9, anche se uno \u00e8 nell\u2019abbondanza, la sua vita non dipende da ci\u00f2 che egli possiede\u00bb.
\nPoi disse loro una parabola: \u00abLa campagna di un uomo ricco aveva dato un raccolto abbondante. Egli ragionava tra s\u00e9: \u201cChe far\u00f2, poich\u00e9 non ho dove mettere i miei raccolti? Far\u00f2 cos\u00ec \u2013 disse \u2013: demolir\u00f2 i miei magazzini e ne costruir\u00f2 altri pi\u00f9 grandi e vi raccoglier\u00f2 tutto il grano e i miei beni.
\nPoi dir\u00f2 a me stesso: Anima mia, hai a disposizione molti beni, per molti anni; rip\u00f2sati, mangia, bevi e div\u00e8rtiti!\u201d. Ma Dio gli disse: \u201cStolto, questa notte stessa ti sar\u00e0 richiesta la tua vita. E quello che hai preparato, di chi sar\u00e0?\u201d. Cos\u00ec \u00e8 di chi accumula tesori per s\u00e9 e non si arricchisce presso Dio\u00bb.<\/p>\n
